We tried to work on 306 a little more today, but hit a wall when our C files wouldn’t link and compile properly. It would be nice if someone actually taught us at some point what a Makefile is and how to use one, but for now we had to go with bashing our heads against the computers for several hours only to decide to completely gut and revamp our approach to create a new syscall to solve our problem. And it still doesn’t entirely work? Not sure. At least it compiles (for the moment). Have to finish 306 tomorrow! Since it’s due tomorrow.
Also studied databases a bit. Got through two chapters of the professor’s slides. I have three more to do tomorrow (luckily, two of them are very short), as well as 390 and the rest of 306. Fun fun.
